Prospeo V2 migration: what it is & what to expect
What is Prospeo V2?
Prospeo V2 is the new Prospeo platform: a B2B lead database + enrichment suite rebuilt to be faster, more reliable, and much better for generating lead lists, not just enriching one lead at a time.
What’s new in Prospeo V2
- Lead list building (inside Prospeo): build targeted lists (including thousands of contacts in seconds) and export verified emails + mobile numbers. You can search the database with 30+ filters to generate lists even if you don’t already have a file.
- Intent signals + smarter filters: beyond basic ICP filters, V2 includes intent-style targeting such as buying intent, headcount growth (by department), and tech usage, so you can prioritize companies that are more likely to be in-market.
- Enrich any data from any source (CSV + CRM workflows): instead of being limited to one specific input, V2 is built for enrichment at scale — you can upload/enrich CSV files and turn common inputs (like names + company, company domains, or profile pages) into richer profiles and firmographics.
- Full revamp of the Chrome extension: the extension works across social & professional profiles and any website, can pull leads from search pages, and lets you export to CSV or send to your CRM in one click.
- New integrations (native connectors): V2 connects with CRMs like Salesforce and HubSpot, and supports key outbound tools (Smartlead, Instantly, Lemlist, Salesloft, Outreach) plus workflows like Clay and CSV exports/imports.
What does “migration” mean?
We’re moving customers from the old Prospeo platform (“V1”) to the new one (“V2”).
You don’t need to do anything technical — the move happens on our side.
What stays the same for everyone
No matter what plan you had in V1:
- Same login email
You log into V2 with the same email address as before.
- Same login method (password or Google)
If you used email + password, you can keep using your password.
If you used “Continue with Google”, keep using Google.
- Your remaining credits move to V2
Your remaining credits from V1 are transferred to V2 so your balance carries over.
- Your API keys still work
If you used the API in V1, your existing keys keep working in V2 and appear in your dashboard.
- Your invoices and billing history are kept
Paid invoices from V1 are available in V2 so you can still download them from your dashboard.
- Account restrictions remain
If your account was restricted or under review in V1, it stays restricted in V2.
What you’ll see in your V2 dashboard
After migration, when you sign in to V2 you should see:
- Your plan name
- Your remaining credits
- Your next renewal date
- Your billing details (if paid)
- Your old invoices (often labeled “previous platform” for clarity)
You may also see:
- A migration banner in Account/Billing explaining that your account was migrated and (if applicable) your price was grandfathered for a period.
- A “Download my data” message/button (only if we have a V1 archive for your account).
Do I need to do anything?
Usually no.
You may need to take action only if:
- You want to update your payment method
- You want to re-invite teammates to your team in V2
