Team accounts after migration (admins & teammates)
If multiple people shared access under one subscription in V1, here’s how it works in V2.
What happens to the paying admin (team owner)
- The person who paid for the subscription in V1 becomes the owner of the main team in V2.
What happens to teammates
- Teammates may become separate accounts in V2 (often on the Free plan by default).
- If you want them on your team in V2, the admin can simply re-invite them from the Team section in the dashboard.
What happens to teammate API keys
To avoid breaking existing automations:
- API keys used by teammates in V1 may be:
- Deleted
- Moved into the admin’s main account
- Renamed to reflect who used them
This prevents “it worked yesterday, now it’s dead” situations.
What to do after migration (recommended)
If you’re the admin:
- Open V2 → Team
- Re-invite teammates who should still have access
- Review imported API keys (if you use the API)
If you’re a teammate:
- Ask your admin to re-invite you in V2 (if you need team access)
