Your plan, billing & credits after migration

This article explains what happened to your plan, price, renewal date, and credits after moving from Prospeo V1 to Prospeo V2.


Renewal dates & billing periods

  • Your renewal date stays the same.
  • Your billing cycle stays consistent (monthly stays monthly, yearly stays yearly).
  • If you had a scheduled cancellation or downgrade set in V1, we carry that intent into V2 (same effective date).


What happened to my price?

Depending on your V1 plan, you may have:

  • Price protection (grandfathered pricing) for a limited number of renewals, or
  • A move to a V2 price that already matches the new structure, or
  • A custom setup that keeps your negotiated contract intact.


If your account is price-protected, you may see a banner explaining that a coupon/discount was applied temporarily.


What happened to my credits?

  • Your remaining credits from V1 are moved to V2.
  • Internally, we record what you already used in V1 so your remaining balance matches what you had before.
  • Your credits reset based on your billing period (monthly/yearly) and renewal date.


Some plans may include temporary bonus credits for a limited time after migration (details below).


Plan-by-plan outcomes

If you were on the Free plan (normal free)

What happens in V2

  • You stay on a Free plan in V2.
  • You receive the standard free monthly credits.
  • Your remaining balance carries over so it matches what you had in V1.

Billing

  • You won’t be charged.


If you were on a standard paid monthly plan

Starter monthly (V1: $39/mo)

In V2

  • You move to Starter in V2.

Price protection

  • For your next 3 renewals, you keep $39/month.
  • After 3 renewals, your subscription switches to the current V2 Starter price.

Credits

  • Your remaining credits carry over.
  • Your renewal date stays aligned.


Growth monthly (V1: $99/mo)

In V2

  • You move to Growth in V2.

Pricing

  • Your pricing continues under the V2 Growth structure (no special temporary discount required).

Credits

  • Your remaining credits carry over.
  • Renewal date stays the same.


Pro monthly (V1: $199/mo)

In V2

  • You move to Pro in V2.

Price protection

  • For your next 3 renewals, you keep $199/month.
  • After 3 renewals, your subscription switches to the current V2 Pro price.

Credits

  • Your remaining credits carry over.
  • You may receive bonus credits for the first 3 months on V2 (then it returns to the standard Pro amount).


Business monthly (V1: $369/mo)

In V2

  • Business V1 becomes Pro V2 + a credit add-on.

Pricing

  • Your total stays $369/month:
    • Pro base in V2
      • fixed credit add-on
    • = same total as before

Credits

  • For the first 3 months on V2, you may receive a large credit boost.
  • After that, credits settle into the normal Pro + add-on level.


If you were on a standard paid yearly plan

If you had Starter/Growth/Pro/Business yearly in V1:

In V2

  • You move to the equivalent yearly plan in V2.

Billing

  • We do not apply the “3 renewals” monthly-style price protection to yearly plans.
  • Your current paid term continues until renewal.
  • At renewal, the plan renews at the current V2 yearly price.

Credits

  • Remaining credits carry over.
  • Renewal date stays the same.
