How to Install the Prospeo Browser Extension


Install the Prospeo Chrome extension to find and enrich contacts directly from any website.


Steps


  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for Prospeo Contact Finder – Email & Phone Number Finder


  1. Click Add to Chrome, then click Add extension when the popup appears.

  1. Once installed, go to any webpage. You’ll see the Prospeo logo on the right side of the page. Click it to open the sidebar.


  1. Click the Pin icon at the top of the sidebar to pin the extension for easy access.



  1. You should now be able to view all the company information and/or related employee details in the sidebar.

Note: You must be logged into your Prospeo account before using the extension. Go to https://prospeo.io/login to sign in, then refresh the page and extension should now work.

Updating The Browser Extension

Chrome automatically updates extensions in the background. No action is needed in most cases.


To check your current version:

  1. Go to chrome://extensions in your browser.
  2. Find Prospeo Contact Finder and click Details.

  1. Your version number is listed on the details page.



To manually check for updates:

  1. Go to chrome://extensions.
  2. Toggle on Developer mode (top right).

  1. Click Update (top left).
  2. All extensions will check for and install available updates.



FAQs

Which browsers are supported?

The extension is available for Google Chrome and any Chromium-based browser (e.g., Brave, Edge, Opera, etc.)


Do I need a Prospeo account to use the extension?

Yes. You must log in with a Prospeo account. If you don’t have one, go to https://prospeo.io/sign-up to sign up for a free account.


The extension isn’t showing on the page. What should I do?

Try refreshing the page. If it still doesn’t appear, make sure the extension is enabled in your browser’s extension settings (chrome://extensions). You may also need to log in again.


Which websites does the extension work on?

The extension works on any website. Navigate to a social profile or a company website to find and enrich contacts.


Does the extension use my Prospeo credits?

Yes. Revealing emails and phone numbers through the extension uses credits from your Prospeo account, the same as the web app. See How Credits Work.


I'm experiencing issues with the extension not loading, what should I do?

Refresh the page, log out and back into Prospeo, and reopen the extension. If that doesn't work, clear your browser cache and disable other extensions to rule out conflicts.
