How to Connect Prospeo to ActiveCampaign

Connect your ActiveCampaign account to Prospeo to enable pushing leads directly from your dashboard.

Requirements

  • A Prospeo account on the Starter, Growth, or Pro plan.
  • An ActiveCampaign account with API access.


Step 1: Generate Your ActiveCampaign API Key

  1. In your ActiveCampaign dashboard, click Settings in the top right.

  1. Select Developer to access your API URL and key.
  2. Click Copy API Key to copy it.


Step 2: Connect in Prospeo

  1. Go to Prospeo, then select Integration on the left sidebar.
  2. Find ActiveCampaign, and click Connect.

  1. In the "Connect to ActiveCampaign" dialog box, paste your API URL and API Key from earlier, then click Connect.

  1. Once connected, ActiveCampaign will show a Connected tag, confirming the setup was successful. You can click View beside it at any time to review your integration activity.

From here you can see:

  • Integration & Error Logs — a record of integration activity, including when the connection was made and any errors encountered.
  • Push History — a history of the leads you've pushed to ActiveCampaign.

Yes. The ActiveCampaign integration is linked to your account only. Each team member must connect their own ActiveCampaign API URL and key to push leads.

Why do I need both an API URL and an API Key?

ActiveCampaign accounts are hosted on your own unique account URL. The API URL tells Prospeo where your ActiveCampaign account lives, while the API Key authorizes the connection. Both are found under Settings → Developer in your ActiveCampaign dashboard.


How do I disconnect ActiveCampaign?

Go to Integrations, find ActiveCampaign, and click Disconnect.


I lost my ActiveCampaign API Key. What do I do?

Go to Settings → Developer in your ActiveCampaign dashboard to copy your API URL and key again. Then disconnect and reconnect the integration in Prospeo using the updated details.


I'm getting an error when trying to connect ActiveCampaign to Prospeo. What should I do?

Make sure your API URL and API Key were copied correctly and in full, since both are required to connect. If you're still experiencing issues, try clearing your browser cache before reconnecting. If the issue persists, contact Prospeo Support.
