How to Push Leads (Contacts) to Salesforce
This article will teach you how to push leads (contacts) directly from Prospeo's People Search into your Salesforce CRM.
Requirements for Salesforce Integration:
- A Prospeo account on the Growth or Pro plan.
- Salesforce connected to Prospeo. See How to Connect Prospeo to Salesforce.
Salesforce Record Types For Leads
Since Salesforce uses two object types, Leads and Contacts, you need to select which record to create when pushing a person from Prospeo. You can select either Leads or Contacts in your Integration settings at https://app.prospeo.io/integration?name=salesforce
e data points Prospeo exports to Salesforce depend on the record type you choose:
Leads — First name, last name, work email, phone, headline, job title, company, website, city, country, employee count, industry, and company address.
Contacts — First name, last name, work email, phone, mobile phone, job title, city, and country.
Push Leads from People Search
- Go to Search → People at https://app.prospeo.io/search/people
- Apply your filters and find the leads you want to export.
- Select the leads by checking the box next to each name. To select all results on the page, check the box at the top of the list.

- Click the dropdown arrow next to "Push to..." and choose Salesforce.

- In the export dialog, choose which contacts to push:

*All contacts — pushes everyone selected.
*Contacts with verified email — only pushes leads with a valid email address.
*Contacts with mobile — only pushes leads with a valid mobile number.
5a. (Optional) You can check Enrich mobile to include mobile numbers in your export.
5b. Additionally, you can select Add to a Salesforce campaign to push directly to a campaign or Select the owner to assign it to another team member.
- Review the credit cost summary, then click Export contacts.
- A progress bar will appear. Once it shows "People pushed to Salesforce successfully", your leads are now in Salesforce.

Verify in Salesforce
- Open your Salesforce dashboard.
- Navigate to your selected campaign or Recent Records list.
- You can view all the successfully pushed leads in this list.

Credit Usage
- Pushing leads to Salesforce triggers email enrichment. This costs 1 credit per verified email found.
- If you select Enrich mobile, mobile enrichment costs 10 credits per mobile found (email is included for free).
- Previously enriched leads are free to push again for the lifetime of your account.
- No credits are charged for leads where no contact data is found.
Notes
- You can also push leads to Salesforce using the Browser extension and from Prospeo lists.
- Push history and logs are available at app.prospeo.io/integration under the Push History tab.
- To control how duplicates and overwrites are handled, configure your settings on the Integrations page.
