How to Integrate Prospeo to EmailBison

How to Connect Prospeo to EmailBison

Connect your EmailBison account to Prospeo to enable pushing leads directly from your dashboard.

Note: This integration is linked to your account only. It is not shared across the team.

Requirements

  • A Prospeo account on the Starter, Growth, or Pro plan.
  • An EmailBison account with API access.

Step 1: Generate Your EmailBison API Key

  1. Inside EmailBison, click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Developer API.
  3. Click New API Token.

  1. Name your API token and select your token type. EmailBison offers two types:
  • api-user — scoped to the specific workspace where it's created. This is the recommended type for integrations like Prospeo, since it keeps your workspaces isolated and secure.
  • super-admin — impersonates the user who created it and grants broader account access, but still only works within the workspace being viewed at the time.
  1. Click Generate Token.

  1. Copy your API token on screen, and keep it private. Never share it with anyone.

Step 2: Connect in Prospeo

  1. Go to Prospeo, then select Integration on the left sidebar.
  2. Find EmailBison, then click Connect.

  1. In the "Connect to Emailbison" dialog box, paste your EmailBison workspace URL and the API Key you copied earlier, then click Connect.

  1. Once connected, EmailBison will show a Connected tag, confirming the setup was successful. You can click View beside it at any time to review your integration activity.

From here you can see:

  • Integration & Error Logs — a record of integration activity, including when the connection was made and any errors encountered.
  • Push History — a history of the leads you've pushed to EmailBison.

Next Steps

Now that EmailBison is connected, you're ready to start pushing enriched leads to your campaigns. See How to Push Leads to EmailBison for a step-by-step guide.

FAQs

Do all team members need to connect EmailBison individually?

Yes. The EmailBison integration is linked to your account only. Each team member must connect their own EmailBison workspace URL and API key to push leads.

Which Prospeo plans support the EmailBison integration?

EmailBison integration is available on the Starter, Growth, and Pro plans.

Why do I need both a workspace URL and an API Key?

EmailBison accounts are hosted on your own unique workspace URL. This tells Prospeo where your EmailBison account lives, while the API Key authorizes the connection. Both are needed to connect successfully.

What token type should I select when generating my API key?

Use api-user. It's scoped to the specific workspace you create it in, which is the safer option for daily automations and third-party integrations like Prospeo. The other option, super-admin, grants broader account access and isn't necessary for this integration.

How do I disconnect EmailBison?

Go to Integration, find EmailBison, and click Disconnect.

I lost my EmailBison API key. What do I do?

Generate a new token in EmailBison under Settings → Developer API → New API Token. Then disconnect and reconnect the integration in Prospeo using the new key.

I'm getting an error when trying to connect EmailBison to Prospeo. What should I do?

Make sure your workspace URL and API key were copied correctly and in full, since both are required to connect. If you're still experiencing issues, try generating a new API token and clearing your browser cache before reconnecting. If the issue persists, contact Prospeo Support.
