How to Connect Prospeo to Make

Connect your Prospeo API to Make to automate lead enrichment inside your Make scenarios.

Requirements

  • A Prospeo account with API access.
  • A Make account.


Step 1: Create a Prospeo API Key

  1. Go to the Integration page on the left sidebar.
  2. Find Make in the list and click Connect.
  3. Click Create an API key on the right side.

  1. You'll be taken to the API Management page. Click Create API Key.

  1. Name your API key, add a description (optional), then click Create API Key.

  1. Your new key will appear under API Keys. Under Action, click the copy icon to copy it.

Store your API key somewhere safe and never share it with anyone.


Step 2: Connect in Make

  1. In your Make dashboard, click Scenarios to create a new workflow.
  2. Click Open Scenario Builder.

  1. Search for Prospeo on the modal that appears.
  2. Select the Prospeo action you want. For example, Enrich a person.

  1. After selecting an action, click Create a connection to link it to your Prospeo account.

  1. Paste the Prospeo API key you copied in Step 1.

  1. Input your existing data by mapping the fields the action needs (for example, a name and company domain, or a social profile URL, depending on the action you chose). You can type values in directly or map them from data coming from an earlier module in your scenario.

  1. Click Run once to test the action.

  1. Make will automatically enrich and fill in the missing information using Prospeo, ready to use in the rest of your scenario.



FAQs


Which Prospeo plans support the Make integration?

Any plan with API access (Starter, Growth, or Pro). The Free plan has limited API access but may work for testing.


Does this use my Prospeo credits?

Yes. Each Prospeo action run through Make consumes credits the same way as using the API directly. See our API docs for more on how credits are consumed.


What Prospeo actions can I use in Make?

You can use Prospeo's available modules to enrich and find contact data within your scenarios, such as enriching a person, finding a verified work email, or finding a mobile number. See Prospeo's Make integration page for the full list.


Why can't I push leads directly to Make?

Make works differently from our other integrations. There's no native push from Prospeo to Make. Instead, the integration runs through your Prospeo API key used directly inside Make, so the data flows from within your scenarios (using Prospeo's modules) rather than being pushed from Prospeo's dashboard.


Why doesn't Make show as "Connected" on my Integrations page?

Because the Make integration runs through your API key inside Make rather than a direct connection on Prospeo's side, Make won't appear with a Connected tag on your Prospeo Integrations page the way our cold outreach integrations do. This is expected, and your scenarios will still work as long as the API key is set up correctly in Make.


Why aren't my Prospeo results showing up in my scenario?

Make sure your input fields are mapped correctly on the module, since Prospeo needs that data to run. If results are still missing, check that your Prospeo account has available credits and that your connection is set up correctly with a valid API key.


I lost or need to replace my Prospeo API key. What do I do?

Create a new key on the API Management page, then update the Prospeo connection in Make with the new key.
